Better Landscapes

Hey folks,
With the completion of Act 2 I've been working on some more general stuff before getting back into making levels. I've been focusing on making the world look more alive, and I've added two new systems to help achieve that: Fireflies and detailing.
The fireflies are pretty self explanatory. They hover around slowly, and the game generates and scatters them randomly throughout a level. They can spawn close in the foreground or off in the background.
The detailing system is pretty neat though. Instead of floors/walls/ceilings being flat, the game now randomly spawns small grass/rocks/vines all over the place to make the terrain look rougher and more natural. It does a good job of making the world less blocky.
That's all I've got for now, I'll see you all next week.
